According to our Department Treasurer, we currently have $1,006 earmarked for the Scholarship Fund as a test case for the three Naval ROTCs. Let's revisit this when we're our one $1,500 Scholarship and see how much extra $ we have beyond our $1,500 commitment.

So far, the Department has collected $983.71 for next year's Scholarship Program with a deadline of 1 April 2027.

ROA and all of its affiliate organizations has IRS tax exempt status under 501(c)(19). All Department members are encouraged to make donations at any time using the "Donate" Button on the Department home page.

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 3,700 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.

For its fundraising in 2024, the Department received a Certificate of Appreciation from Wreaths Across America. (see download)

Wreath laying at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery this year did take place on 13 December 25 with the formal one-hour ceremony, started at 1200 hours.
