John & Iggi announced that American Legion Post # 1, in Raleigh,

Has been selected as the site for the Department Annual State Convention (11 Jul 2026).

Christmas Party - A Sanford location is being contacted about our Christmas Luncheon.

NEW BUSINESS -

Financial Summary - Tom Froneberger

Our Cash Assets are now $86,115. Wreaths Across America sent us a rebate for $500. Future Department Scholarship Plans - Donations can now be accepted online viaPayPal, as well as cash and checks.

The West Point Society (Fort Bragg/Sandhills) Annual Founder's Day Celebration will be April 18, at Segra Baseball Stadium, Fayetteville. Mike Moose is helping to sponsor the event on behalf of ROA. ROA will be featured on the WPS websites and on an event Billboard at the celebration.

Comments by MG Wilmoth -

She mentioned the low attendance by National Councilmen and Department Presidents at the March Leader's Meeting, in Washington, DC. Also discussed was that the next Annual Meeting will be in March 2027. In October 2026, a modified Zoom Meeting is planned with an Awards Dinner. MG Wilmoth commented that the new staff members are very productive and that Fund Raising is currently operational.
