OLD BUSINESS -

2026 Department Convention - Update. (see following message)

John & Iggi announced that American Legion, Post # 1, 1120 Saw Mill Road, Raleigh, NC 27615, will be the site – Saturday, 11 July, 1000 to 1500 hours. The cost of a catered lunch will be $20. RSVPs - YES .....will be received by Mike Moose.

Tom Froneberger mentioned that The West Point Founder's Day Event,

in Fayetteville on 18 April, was well-attended by USMA Grads & other ROA Friends. (Mike Moose provided a sponsorship, on behalf of ROA-North Carolina Department.)

NEW BUSINESS -

President Husar published the upcoming meeting schedule for 2026.

Christmas Party

A Sanford location is being contacted about our Christmas Gathering. Other suitable venues will be considered.

Treasurer Froneberger is awaiting the annual invoice for our ZOOM Account

and our website services.

Financial Summary - Tom Froneberger

Our Cash Assets are now $86,700. Our assets continue to grow.

Department Scholarship Donations are growing and now total over $900.

FUTURE ROTC SCHOLARSIPS

Mike Moose mentioned that specific protocols are needed, in order to properly offer and award ROTC scholarships, and solicit funds. We need a workable policy to make sure that our scholarships are well-received and enhance our Department's visibility.

DEPARTMENT WEBSITE

COL Husar continues to post pertinent information to our website pages.

He announced that the new ROA-HQ website is unable to provide membership data to Departments at this time. Mike Moose mentioned that there are concerns from various Departments that the new ROA HQ website system is not fully operational.
